I care about software where backend behavior, product constraints, and interface details have to hold together in real use.

CutCaption is a subtitle production suite

Built for precise timing, rich styling, and end-to-end video output.

A subtitle workflow product with a full media pipeline, a real editor, and consistent preview-to-export rendering. Built on Django, Vue 3, Docker, FFmpeg, Whisper, and Stripe.

Pipeline

Uploads, validation, background ingest, proxies, waveform data, sprite sheets, transcription, and persistent caption documents.

Editor

Timeline editing, versioned caption state, autosave, undo/redo, search, styling, and responsive layouts.

Product layer

Auth, workspaces, billing constraints, export recovery, and the background state that connects them.

I'm based in France, with work across backend systems, media pipelines, workflow editors, and applied AI. CutCaption is the first product from OtsoLabs, my Wyoming-registered LLC.
